The IHC Presents: A Mindful Parenting Psycho-Education Group
This is an 8 week group to aid parents with children ages 1-12 in creating healthy parent/child relationships and healthy child/world relationships.
This is a supportive setting where you can:
- begin to effectively provide consistent and mindful responses to
your children
- learn strategies to cope more effectively with anxiety and
depression brought up by your child
- relate to and learn from others with similar issues with their
children
- learn to set more consistent boundaries with your child
- understand how our thoughts, feelings and behaviors influence
each other and affect the parent/child relationship
Who: Adult parents who have children ages 1-12 years
Where: The Interpersonal Healing Clinic, 1106 Depot Hill Rd., Ste E, Broomfield, CO 80020
When: Every Saturday 10-1130am; Due to start October 22 to December 10, 2011
Price: $50 per session and $375 if paid in full by the first meeting, which includes handouts and homework materials
