SUMMARY:Jefferson Academy BIZ KIDS Business Fair
DESCRIPTION:Biz Kids is a program where students are taught the ins and outs of starting a business. Throughout the program students must come up with a business plan\, set a budget\, advertise\, etc. The culminating event is the Biz Kids Fair (October 10th)\, where their stores/businesses are set up and students\, staff\, and outside community members can come in and visit their booths to learn about and/or purchase their goods or services. This year we are expanding by partnering with the Westminster Chamber of Commerce and their new Entrepreneur for a Day program. Students at our Biz Kids Fair will be judged and winners will advance to compete at the Taste of Westminster in November through this Chamber program. This is an exciting extension to the program and we know our students will be up for the challenge. We would love to have community members and businesses stop by and visit the fair to see what the students/businesses are up to! There will be items for sale so come ready to shop and support young entrepreneurs!
