Get Better.\n\nBoulder Skyline Traverse Challenge Progress Bar\n\n\n\n\nMental Health Partners' story begins in 1962\, when it opened as a mental health clinic serving Boulder County residents. In 1964\, they received their non-profit status and became a federally designated comprehensive community mental health center in 1971. Since then\, they have expanded to meet the growing needs of their surrounding communities\, with multiple locations in Boulder\, Broomfield\, Longmont and Lafayette\; and share locations with primary care physicians in additional communities.\n\nIt is estimated\, that of the 360\,000 residents of Boulder and Broomfield counties\, more than 60\,000 individuals suffer with a form of mental illness. During 2015\, MHP provided clinical care to 16\,300 clients\, 6\,000 were served in community-based programs and 34\,500 individuals participated in presentations\, education or training.
