Bowl for A Precious Child-Fire vs Police
The 3rd Annual Bowl for A Precious Child-Fire vs Police will be happening on April 22nd from 3:00 to 6:00pm at Chipper’s Lanes located at 100 Nickel Street in Broomfield.
The North Metro Fire Rescue District will compete against the Broomfield Police Department in a bowling tournament. There will be a drawing, contests, food and fun. Proceeds will help A Precious Child, a local nonprofit organization that provides disadvantaged and displaced children and families with basic essentials such as diapers, school supplies, sports equipment and clothing.
The winner of the tournament will take home the coveted trophy. Carina Martin Executive Director of A Precious Child said, “We live in a special community where firefighters and police officers come together to raise money to help impoverished children in the community.”
There will be a total of 24 teams consisting of five players, one bowler from the fire or police department and four players from the community.
The cost per player is $30 or $120 per team to bowl when you register by April 13th. After April 13th the cost is $40 per person and $160 per team. Check-in and lane assignment will begin at 3:30 pm. There is a spectator fee of $10 per person or $35 for a family of four to dine and watch the tournament. Food will be provided courtesy of local restaurants.
