4th Annual Bowl for A Precious Child Fire vs. Police Tournament
We are excited to announce the upcoming Fire vs. Police Bowl for A Precious Child Tournament, which is a collaborative effort between North Metro Fire Rescue District, Broomfield Police Department and A Precious Child. The event is scheduled for Sunday, April 21st, 2013 and will take place at Chipper’s Lanes located at 100 Nickel Street, Broomfield, CO 80020. Check-in for the event will begin at 2:00pm and bowling will start at 3:00pm. The spirited and friendly competitive spirit between the fire and police at the tournament promises to make the event one to remember.
The event will include a drawing, contests, and food & fun for the whole family! All proceeds from the event will benefit A Precious Child, a local nonprofit that provides basic essentials, such as clothing, coats and school supplies, to children living in homeless shelters, foster homes, or facing a huge life challenge and otherwise without access to basic needs. “There are children living in poverty right here in our neighborhoods, and we are thrilled to have the support of North Metro Fire and Broomfield Police to help raise funds for the children in our community that need our help through this event,” stated Carina Martin, Executive Director and Founder of A Precious Child.
