AKC Responsible Dog Ownership Day

September is AKC Responsible Dog Ownership month, and local pet businesses are celebrating by holding a community event for all dog lovers and their families that publicly promotes responsible dog ownership and the unique bond we share with our canine companions. Activities for the kids, food and face painting! Attendees can speak one-on-one with experienced dog trainers, pet sitters, pet supply retailers, and other pet related businesses. Those looking to show their neighbors that their dog is an upstanding member of the community can take the AKC Canine Good Citizen® (CGC) Test. Well behaved, on-leash pet dogs are welcome!
