Business After Hours - BUTTERFLY PAVILION
Take advantage of great networking in a fun and relaxed environment at Business After Hours, the premier networking event for business professionals hosted by a Chamber member and held in a variety of member venues. Additionally, each Chamber member host graciously shares their spotlight with a non-profit Chamber member to raise awareness and bring attention to our local non-profit organizations.
The 2-1/2 hour time frame gives you the opportunity to discuss and share ideas while learning about other local businesses, whether you stay for 20 minutes or the full 2-1/2 hours.
Held in a relaxed setting, Business After Hours is a relationship building experience that benefits you and your company through added contacts and resources. Additionally, a speed networking session is held when space permits!
Arrive on time. It is easier to start a conversation before everyone has settled into groups.
Wear your name tag on your right. When you shake hands, it will be in direct line of vision.
Remember to circulate. To join in a group of people that you don’t know very well, try saying something as simple as, “May I join you?” It works.
Networking is about creating relationships. Remember to smile, look people in the eye when you talk to them and use their name.
Be prepared. If you are asked about your product or service, you want to be ready to answer with a brief 30 second summary.
Follow up. Bring business cards so that you can easily exchange contact information and follow up within 48 hours of the event.
