Take advantage of great networking in a fun and relaxed environment at Business After Hours, the premier networking event for business professionals, hosted this month by Chamber member Office Interiors.
You'll have the opportunity to discuss and share ideas while learning about other local businesses. Held in a relaxed setting, Business After Hours is a relationship building experience that benefits you and your company through added contacts and resources.
NOTE: Due to COVID-19 limitations, and in an effort to keep everyone as safe as possible, we are limited this in-person event to 30 participants. So, please register asap. There will be NO registration at the door for this event.
Masks are required to enter the event, as is adherence to social distancing norms. We will have hand sanitizer available as well.
Arrive on time. It is easier to start a conversation before everyone has settled into groups.
Wear your name tag on your right. When you shake hands, it will be in direct line of vision.
Remember to circulate. To join in a group of people that you don’t know very well, try saying something as simple as, “May I join you?” It works.
Networking is about creating relationships. Remember to smile, look people in the eye when you talk to them and use their name.
Be prepared. If you are asked about your product or service, you want to be ready to answer with a brief 30 second summary.
Follow up. Bring business cards so that you can easily exchange contact information and follow up within 48 hours of the event.
