HYPE Seminar: How to Lead When You're Not in Charge

IMPORTANT NOTE: This will be an in-person event, with a maximum of 10 attendees, including our presenter. Social distancing guidelines will be followed, and face coverings are required for guests while in the conference room.

Coach. Develop. Inspire. in partnership with Helping Young Professionals Evolve (HYPE) is pleased to present a 4 Hour Workshop for Local Young Professionals dedicated to enabling leadership skills as an employee while increasing self-understanding.

Leading When Not in Charge


Participants will learn and understand that they have the ability to lead from their current non-leadership role.  They will hear about the six leadership myths, discuss as a group how to navigate through the biggest non-leader challenges, and take home 5 leadership principles.

DiSC Personality Assessment
The DiSC profile is a non-judgemental tool used for discussion people’s behavioral differences.  Each participant will be asked to complete a series of questions that produces a detailed report about their personality and behavior prior to the workshop.  Participants will receive tips for relating to working with people of other styles.  They will learn and understand that no matter their title, role, or level, that they have the ability to influence others.  Moreover, they will acquire through interactive discussion and teaching, key characteristics of a person of influence.
