Have you ever wanted to learn how to build web applications, but didn’t quite know how to get started? Maybe you have a super idea for an app and want to create it on your own?

Then DaVinci Coders is what you are looking for!

Ruby on Rails is a web application framework written in the Ruby programming language. Ruby can be used to write desktop applications, web applications, automation scripts, credit card processing, etc.

Programming tasks that took 10 hours to code in older languages can now be accomplished in 1 hour or less using Ruby.

Once you complete your Ruby On Rails training, you’ll be able to:

    Use the Ruby programming language to write applications, automate repetitive tasks, interact with other applications, etc.
    Write web applications in Ruby using the Ruby On Rails framework.
    Understand the basics of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to create user interfaces for web applications.
    Comfortably work in Linux desktop and server environments.
    Maintain the integrity of your source code using the Git distributed version control system.
    Interact with the PostgreSQL relational database system from a Ruby application and command line tools using SQL.
    Demonstrate proficiency with common software development tasks including automated testing, troubleshooting and debugging, deploying software releases to production environments, time management and estimating, working with other programmers and their code, create documentation, and writing code that can be maintained long-term.

Our Brown-Bag Wednesdays (bring your own lunch) feature an Industry Advisor speaking on some tantalizing aspect of the coding industry, and are an easy way for you to join us, meet the students, meet the teacher, and hear first hand how this industry can change your life. The best part is that they're free to attend.
