Put Down Your Phone
In this 3-week workshop for parents and caregivers, Dan Fox, LPC and Michelle Albert will facilitate as we examine our cell phone use, our kids' usage, and the latest neuroscience regarding screen addiction. We will: explore our relationship with our phones consider the effects of screen use on child development and parenting learn how persuasive technology exploits our psychological vulnerabilities and makes these devices so addictive develop a family plan for how to create healthy screen habits
