Mrs. Fields was founded in 1977 by Debra J. Fields. A young mother with no business experience, launched her first cookie store in Palo Alto, California. They told her she was crazy. No business could survive just selling cookies. Debbi had a goal of making people happy with her delicious chocolate chip cookies and that goal continues on today. She had no idea of the magnitude and impact that the premier cookie chain would have. Currently The Mrs. Fields’ Brand, Inc. has over 277 location in the United States and has Franchisees in 10 countries around the world.
