Western Air Flight Academywas started in 2003 by Jim Burr, who is the Chairman of the Board. Since that time, 100’s of students have become private pilots, commercial pilots and airline transport pilots. Western Air Flight Academy, the premier flight-training center in Colorado is conveniently located at Rocky Mountain Metropolitan (Metro) Airport in Broomfield. Currently the Western Air staff represents just over 157 years and nearly 75,000 hours of flight experience.
